The Oriental Institute Museum
Access to the Museum Ramp access is available, and drop-offs are permitted. A traffic drop-off is available from the east side of University Avenue. Questions? Parking After 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday, free parking is available at Lexington Parking Lot (5835 South University Avenue), half a block south of the Oriental Institute. There is a limited number of accessible parking spaces in this parking lot. Pull up in front of the gate and it will open automatically. Inside the Museum All our galleries are on ground level and are wheelchair accessible. Elevators are located in the lobby with access to all floors. A limited number of wheelchairs are available for free on a first-come, first-served basis. Breasted Hall is equipped with a designated wheelchair area in the front row. Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) A limited number of FM assistive listening devices for lectures, courses, guided tours, and other special events are available for check-out. Headsets and neck loops are available free of charge with identification.
