Maverick Tours
To fly and be accommodated, you will need to have a collapsible wheelchair with removable wheels. You must also be accompanied by someone who can assist you with boarding and disembarking the aircraft. Maverick is ADA compliant. Maverick Airlines must be notified 72 hours prior to departure of the passenger’s intent to travel with a service animal. Per Federal regulations [14 CFR 382.117], the service animal must accompany the passenger at the seat in which they sit and cannot obstruct an aisle or any area needed in an emergency evacuation. The animal must be secure during takeoff/landing and must be transported in an animal carrier that fits underneath a passenger seat. Animal carrier space is limited and measures only 16” x 16” x 9.5” high. All animal carriers, with the animal inside, must be able to fit in that space. If the animal carrier does not fit in the 16” x 16” x 9.5” high space, then transportation of the service animal will be denied. Transportation of the service animal will also be denied if no proof is provided that the animal is a service animal.
