Accessibility The park contact station and headquarters located in the historic Hewlett Lodge at Island Ford is accessible with restrooms and drinking fountains. The picnic shelters at Abbotts Bridge, Johnson Ferry, and Powers Island are all accessible. Restroom facilities at Jones Bridge, Johnson Ferry, Powers Island, Interstate North entrance to Cochran Shoals and Paces Mill are all accessible. Handicap parking spaces are designated in all paved parking lots. Entrance fee stations located at parking lots are all accessible. For more information, contact park staff at 678-538-1200. * Entrance fees are free with America the Beautiful Pass. Pass may be obtained in person at a federal recreation site or through the mail using the application form. The cost of obtaining an Access Pass through the mail is ten dollars ($10) for processing the application (the Pass is free). Applicants must provide documentation of permanent disability and residency or citizenship
