Free Ferry Ride

Staten Island

Though accessible by car, a more scenic route to Staten Island is by way of the Staten Island Ferry. The free ride brings great views of the harbor and Statue of Liberty. Once there, the St. George Ferry Terminal is the gateway to a number of attractions. Walk to the Staten Island Museum, the historic St. George Theatre and the 83-acre Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden (home to the Noble Maritime Collection and the Staten Island Children’s Museum).
