Vermont Fish and Wildlife
Vermont offers no-cost licenses for individuals with disabilities. Disabled Veteran Fishing A legally blind person who is a Vermont resident may apply for a free permanent fishing license. Documentation from the Division for the Blind and Visually Impaired is required. Permanent Mobility Disability A Vermont resident with paraplegia or a permanent, severe, physical mobility disability may receive a free permanent fishing or combination license, if qualified, with the proper proof of disability. A non-resident person with paraplegia or a permanent, severe, physical mobility disability, that resides in a state that provides a reciprocal privilege to Vermont residents may receive a free one-year fishing license, or if qualified, a one-year combination license, with the proper proof of disability.
