My Spinal Cord Injury Has Made Me Appreciate Life
Hello, I'm My, and I am 24 years old. About one year ago I was in a car accident that left me with a complete Spinal Cord Injury T4. I have experienced days of tears, pain, and anger. However, I have had more good days than bad. I think that is due to the support of my family and boyfriend, which I have felt since day one of this journey.
I am thankful to myself for my attitue and way of thinking. I'm a very stubborn person, and that has helped a lot in my rehab. "Thanks" to my Spinal Cord Injury, I'm more grateful in life, and I appreciate all the small day-to-day aspects more. I always try to see the good in the bad that happens.
