שמי רונית, אני אם לשישה. לפני חמש שנים חליתי ומאז אני מרותקת לכיסא גלגלים. החלטתי לא ליפול לדיכאון ועשיתי כל מה שיכולתי כדי להחזיר את הספונטניות לחיים; לצאת וליהנות כפי שידעתי לפני שחליתי.
לאורך הדרך הצטרפו אלי אנשים מדהימים. חלקם גם הם בעלי מוגבלות וחלקם לא. יחד אנחנו מצליחים לעודד חיוביות בקהילת בעלי המוגבלות בישראל, אמהות ועוד.
הקמתי מיזם חברתי בישראל בשם Way2Go לאנשים מוגבלים פיזית עם חזון של שוויון לכולם. להיות בכיסא גלגלים אילץ אותי לחוסר ודאות בעזיבת הבית לארוחת ערב, לסרט, לחופשה. הייתי צריכה לבצע שיחות טלפון כדי לברר אם מקומות שרציתי לבקר בהם נגישים למשתמשים בכיסאות גלגלים. לרוב המידע שקיבלתי לא היה100% מדויק. אז החלטתי לעשות שינוי.
Way2GO מציעה מפת נגישות עם אפשרויות חיפוש. במפה יש סימני מיקום של עסקים. בפרופיל העסקי אנו מפרטים בטקסט ותמונות את מצב הנגישות של המקום במספר פרמטרים כגון: חניה, אפשרויות לרמפות, סביבה נגישה, שירותים נגישים וכו'. המידע נאסף על ידי אנשי WAY2GO. התמונות צולמו בטלפונים חכמים, לא נעשה שימוש במסננים, ולכן הנתונים מדויקים ב -100%. אנו מאמינים שלא ניתן להגדיר נגישות, הדרישות הן אינדיבידואליות. רוצים לתת לכל אדם עם מוגבלות את הרצון החופשי לבחור אם מקום נגיש מספיק לו / לה. אנחנו לא שופטים או מעריכים את רמת הנגישות.
לכל מקום במפה שלנו יש ביקורת באתר שלנו ודף פייסבוק. יש לנו גם אפליקציה - W2GO. חפשו אותה באפל ובגוגל (בינתיים היא רק בעברית, בקרוב גם באנגלית). כמו כן, יש לנו המלצות למוצרים ייחודיים לקהילת בעלי המוגבלות כגון כיסאות גלגלים מתקדמים, מוצרי נגישות וכדומה. דברים גדולים נוספים בדרך! אל תהססו לכתוב לנו: wheelchairlife117@gmail.com עקבו אחרינו:

My name is Ronit, I am a mother of six. I became ill five years ago, and since than I have been confined to a wheelchair. I decided not to fall into depression and did all I could to bring back the spontaneity of life; going out and having fun the way I knew before becoming ill.
Along the way I was joined by amazing people. Some of them are also disabled and some are not. Together we manage to bring positivity to the disabled community in Israel, moms with strollers, and much more.
I founded a social venture in Israel called Way2Go for people with physical disabilities with a vision of equality for everyone. Being a person in a wheelchair forced me with the uncertainty of leaving the house for dinner, a movie, vacation into an open war room where I needed to make phone calls to find out if places I wanted to visit were accessible for wheelchair users. I found that most of the time the information I received was not 100% accurate. So, I decided to make a change. Way2GO offers an accessibility map with search options. On the map there are pins for businesses. In the business profile we detail with text and pictures the accessibility situation of the place under several parameters such as: parking, ramp options, accessible surroundings, accessible restrooms, etc. The information is gathered by WAY2GO people. The pictures were taken by smartphones, no filters were used- therefore, the data is 100% accurate. We believe that you cannot define accessibility, each person has his/her own demands for it. We want to give each person with a disability the free will to choose if a place is accessible enough for him/her, and not by just providing a snapshot of the accessibly factors of the place. WE DO NOT JUDGE OR EVALUATE THE ACCESSIBILITY LEVEL.
Every place on our map will have a review on our site and Facebook page. We also have an app – W2GO. Look it up in Apple and Google (for now, it's just in Hebrew, English will come soon). We also have recommendations for unique products for the disability community such as high-tech wheelchairs, accessibility products and so on. There will be more great things to come!
