I Thought My Dreams Were Over
Hello! I'm Georgina, and I am 18 years old. For the past eight years, I've been living with severe Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ Myalgic Encephalopathy (CFS/ME). It has completely changed my life. Everything stopped after my diagnosis- from school and friendships to my dancing and acting schools. I never thought I'd even get a chance to follow any of my dreams again, especially to be an actress/model.
Just because you have a disability doesn't mean you don't get a chance to pursue your dreams
Roll forward to 2017 and after a few tough years, Zebedee Management came into my life. This is an agency for people with any form of disability. I went to a casting to see if I was what they were looking for & I was! I was surprised! Even though I'm ill & use a wheelchair, these two beautiful woman wanted me on their agency's books. I didn't know if anything was going to happen from it but it already gave me some confidence & excitement in my life.
Since being signed with them I've been part of a couple photoshoots, a casting & even a catwalk for Zebedee. My confidence has grown incredibly, and I now even have family & friends in Zebedee. Each person on their books is just incredible. Im honoured & thankful to be part of it, and to be changing the perceptions in the modelling world. Just because you have a disability doesn't mean you don't get a chance to pursue your dreams. I look forward to what the future brings me. It's time to INSPIRE ❤️
