אני בת 16 וחיה עם ספינה ביפידה ועקמת. החיים שלי הם נורמליים למדי עם כמה יוצאים מן הכלל; אני יושבת על כיסא ובדרך כלל אצל הרופא שלוש פעמים בשבוע. המוגבלות שלי מגיעה עם כל כך הרבה בעיות רפואיות אחרות שאני אפילו לא יכולה להסביר. כל מה שאני יכולה לומר הוא שאני נערה שעברה 26 ניתוחים, אבל זה לא משנה את הגישה שלי. העצה שלי עבור כל אדם במצב דומה היא להיות עם ביטחון ולדעת שיש אנשים שאוהבים אתכם.
My Journey with Spina Bifida and Scoliosis
I am sixteen years old and I live with Spina Bifida and Scolosis. My life is fairly normal with a few exceptions; I am in a chair and usually at the doctor three times a week. My disability comes with so many other medical problems I can't even begin to explain. All I can say is that I'm a teen who has had 26 surgeries, but that doesn't change my attitude. My piece of advice for anyone in a similar situation is to have confidence and know you have people that love you.
