Schizophrenia can be difficult to live with
Schizophrenia is a chronic mental illness and it can be debilitating. Hallucinations and delusions can interfere with every day life but it's generally the chronic fatigue, the crippling anxiety, and an unstable mood that leave some people with schizophrenia disabled. I have a bachelors degree in nursing but at certain times in my life I am disabled and unable to work due to my condition. It's time we start recognizing people with schizophrenia and other invisible mental illnesses in the disabled community. Just because you can't physically see the disability doesn't mean that it's not there.
