Sitting volleyball inclusivity
I want to introduce my friend Katie who I have introduced to the sitting volleyball game. She continues to defy everything I ever thought about what you needed for the sport. She’s proving to all of us who play and coach this sport that you too can play if you’re missing a limb. Smiling her way through it all. From a coaching standpoint, she’s completely changed the way I have looked at our sport for the past 18 years. I would like other kids, adults, and veterans to see they can play too. Don’t ever let limb loss stop you.
