Advocating for Amputees

I was born with tibial hemimelia, which means I have non-functioning knee joints and ankles, as well as ectrodactyly hands (4 fingers on my left hand and 3 fingers on my right hand). She had bilateral above knee amputations at fourteen months old.

I have been an advocate for several platforms including, Ottobock Momentum, Thrive Magazine, Amplitude Magazine, Coptic Voice, and March for Science. I was also recognized by the NIH National Institutes of General Medical Sciences Biomedical Beat Blog.
