Perception with Lyme Disease

Behind the pain is a lesson

7 years ago I was jogging on a path through the woods and I got a tick bite that changed my life. I was diagnosed with many things. In 2015 I was finally diagnosed with Lyme disease. Over the course of 4 years, it impacted mobility from my lower body and caused many issues due to the neurological damage. I'm a mommy of a 7-year-old daughter and Its definitely a struggle sometimes. But I can't give up because she's watching me every step of the way. Eating healthy and living a healthy lifestyle is very important to me so I can feel as good as I'm capable of controlling. Throughout the day I definitely have to count my spoons aka it takes a lot out of me to do daily tasks like shower or even eating takes a lot from me. I've done about 4 different treatments over the years. Without my family, close friends and laughter, I don't know where I'd be.
