There is a Light at the End of the Tunnel
Heya! My name is Efena Otobo (@efenasmiles) and I'm a paraplegic. Six years ago, I was in a car accident that left me paralyzed from the waist down. After countless hours in physical therapy I went on a long tour across California. Adventures across California that included Comic-Con, Supernatural VegasCon, Heroes & Villains San Joes, Warner Bros. VIP Studio Tour, and The Walking Dead Convention.
I decided to move back home to Nigeria to make a change.
Then, in 2019, I started a Foundation called Light at the End of the Tunnel (L.E.T) to influence disability policies in Lagos State and Nigeria, to start a scholarship fund for less privileged and differently-abled children. My goal is to mobilize donations to cover living & medical expenses for those in need and other ways to help disabled people in Nigeria. My goal is to spread awareness of spinal cord injuries and other disabilities. We need to work together to fight together.
Check me out on my blog.
