My life... My story

My name is Vanessa Pimentel, and I'm 32 years old from Rio de Janeiro. I was in a motorcycle accident at age 21 in 2006. I am a paraplegic, T6 and T7. I am also a paracyclist with a handbike. I am the first Ring Girl wheelchair in the world, in Favela Kombat MMA Rio de Janeiro. I was a conductor of the Rio 2016 Olympic torch. I work as a motivational lecturer and photographic model.

"No matter where you stopped, at what point in your life you got tired. What matters is that it is always possible and necessary to RESTART." Carlos Drumond de Andrade
