Spinal Cord Injury (SCI)

Adapt to the World

Hi, I'm Fanery. I am 17 years old and I had a car accident on January 5, 2016. I broke my C3, C4 column, C5, and C6. I have incomplete spinal cord trauma. This accident totally changed my life and being in this new situation made me understand the value of every part of the body. Over time, I have learned the value of life and will settle for what I have. I thank God for giving me another chance and for allowing me to be alive.

It is true that being in a wheelchair is hard and difficult but that does not mean that all our dreams have collapsed. On the contrary, we must fight more and if the world does adapt to us, we will adapt to the world.
