My Story

My name is Edy Johan Saya. I was born in 1977 and have had Polio since I was 10 months old. I always do daily activities using my hands because I am a sports lover. I'm from Indonesia and people with disabilities still do not receive support from our society or government. I always do activities to please my heart, like climbing a tree or using a sporting instrument that uses my feet instead of my hands. I also love wheelchair sport racing, which I have been training for in Bali for 2 months. Next, I will be training in Australia this September.
