Always Waking Up With a Smile- Even with Spinal Muscular Atrophy
Hi my name is Christopher but everyone calls me Chris. I was diagnosed with SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) when I was 6 months old. The doctor only gave me 1-2 years to live, but I'm now 23 years old and living life to it's fullest. I have wonderful and loving parents that support me in anything I pursue, including cosplaying which is something I love to do! I also enjoy the outdoors, going on adventures, editing videos, and digital drawing with photoshop and illustrator using only two fingers.
I graduated from Verdugo Hills High School in Los Angeles, California last year with the help of the LAUSD Educational Technology team and a robot called Vgo who helped me travel to and from home and assist in the classroom. I've met so many great people and friends along the way and I can't wait to see what's in store for me next!
