Born With Fibular Hemimelia: No Fibula, No Problem

The happiest little girl who was born with fibular hemimelia

Hi, I'm Penny! When my mom was pregnant with me and found out that I would be born with a rare orthopedic condition called Fibular Hemimelia, her and my dad were shocked and felt devastated. Little did they know that I would prove them wrong. Although I'm an amputee and wear a prosthetic, I can run and dance like every other two year old. I love chocolate, jumping on the trampoline, and kittens are my absolute favorite. We all really are more alike than we are different but it's the little differences that make life exciting and beautiful. This is just the beginning of my story...

I'm an adorable little girl with Fibular Hemimelia. I'm an amputee and wear a prosthetic, but that doesn't stop me from doing anything!
